While designing shoes at his workshop in North London, Dato’ Jimmy Choo was discovered and featured on the pages of British Vogue, sparking a relationship that would eventually lead to the establishment of the Jimmy Choo brand.

Launched in 1996 by Dato’ Jimmy Choo and Tamara Mellon (Accessories Editor of British Vogue), Jimmy Choo is now one of the most sought-after and luxurious women’s shoe lines. Hand crafted, the shoes truly offer a higher level of design, craftsmanship and quality. The line has now expanded to include handbags and collaborations with brands such as H&M.

In 2001, Jimmy Choo had sold his stake in the company to exclusively focus on the Jimmy Choo Couture line.
